Spreadin' the word
April 22, 2008
Over time, we've heard from so many of you who have taken the initiative to tell others about what we're up to at ROSA LOVES. Here are a few examples of what some people have done to spread the good word!
Becky Ankeny
Becky is great. She's the girlfriend of one of our best friends, Nelson. Becky and Nelson both live in Phoenix, Arizona, and threw a huge New Year bash. At their party, Becky created this rad collaborative triptych painting inspired by ROSA LOVES. People at the party were encouraged to add to the painting by writing something that inspired them about the project. Check out the photos below or take a closer look. Thanks Becky and Nelson for your support! We love you.

Christopher Simmons
Christopher Simmons, of This is Mine, a well known graphic design studio out of San Francisco, recently spoke at an AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts ) conference down here in Jacksonville, Florida. Chris was talking to Jackonville creatives about how can they can impact their communities in a positive way through graphic design. During his lecture, he mentioned ROSA LOVES. Christopher has been a part of a few "socially-impacting" design projects himself, namely one that we highly respect called, Buy A Meter, which helps bring clean water to impoverished families in Hale County, Alabama. Check out this photo (thanks Jeff!) of Chris, bringing people through rosaloves.com. Chris, thanks for sharing us with others!

Holly Elliot
We recently met Holly, who is a Flagler College student. Holly and her friends were taking a video production class and decided to create a video about ROSA LOVES for one of their projects. Check out what Holly came up with. She also informed us that she was awarded "Best Video" of her class. Great job, Holly!
